Hotel Granvia

This charming little boutique accommodation was a gem of a find. Situated in a prime location, it was immaculately clean and provided the utmost comfort for our stay. With the metro conveniently located across the street, we were able to easily explore popular tourist spots such as the Ramblas and Barrio Gothic without any hassle. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our check-in and check-out processes were smooth. While we typically prefer to have breakfast outside, we couldn't resist the complimentary spread offered when we mentioned Rick Steve's travel guide, which is how we discovered this hidden gem. The availability of a Nespresso machine with a variety of drinks for guests to use 24/7 was a lovely touch. We enjoyed sipping our coffees in the cozy library or out on the terrace, which provided a peaceful escape from the bustling city. Despite facing the busy Gran Via, we were pleasantly surprised that we couldn't hear any traffic or noise from other guests.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was charming and the staff were extremely friendly. The cleanliness was exceptional and the location was truly incredible, with convenient access to various transportation methods and a wide selection of high-end stores and supermarkets. It truly felt like I was in the center of Barcelona!

My partner and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary in Barcelona. From the moment we arrived at our accommodation, we felt welcomed with a refreshing glass of sparkling wine waiting for us in our room. The staff at the front desk were impeccable, the decor throughout the hotel was stunning, and our room was both tidy and cozy, stocked with a range of toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast spread was exceptional and offered a variety of options, including gluten-free bread, pastries, and cakes for my wife. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring all the top tourist spots on foot, with the exception of our visit to Parc Guell, which was well worth taking public transport for. Should we find ourselves in Barcelona again, we would gladly return to this wonderful hotel.

The hotel we stayed at in Barcelona was excellent. Our room was superior and had a lovely Juliette balcony that overlooked Gran Via. The location was ideal and the service was great. We thought it was a great value for the price. The only small issue we had was that the tea and coffee in our room was not replenished or cleaned daily unless we requested it. We also wished that the coffee machine in the main lounge had cold milk available. These were minor things that did not affect our overall stay, however, they did prevent us from giving a 5-star rating. The staff at the reception were very friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated their helpfulness.

👂Not the best sound insulation, heard everything happening in the next room's bathroom, even 💨! Asked to switch rooms but was told all rooms were the same! Thankfully, I lucked out with a room on the 🏙️ 4th floor.
