😠 Had a really bad experience with the reception staff during my stay 😩 They were so unprofessional and unhelpful, always making me feel like I was wrong 😤 I wouldn't suggest staying here if you want to enjoy your vacation 🚫 On top of that, be prepared to wake up early because of loud kitchen noises and the smell of oily pastries around 5 am 👎🏼
During our recent visit to Barcelona, we chose to stay at a hotel that exceeded our expectations. The team at the hotel was incredibly helpful in assisting us with transportation from the airport. Our room may have been on the smaller side, but it had everything we needed and was impeccably clean. The view from our room was breathtaking, showcasing the stunning architecture of Barcelona. Sure, the street outside could get a bit noisy at times with the bustling city life, but that is to be expected during a city break. A special shoutout to Victor at the reception for going above and beyond to help us when our passport was stolen. He provided us with valuable guidance and even helped us make restaurant reservations and arrange airport transportation. And let's not forget the pièce de résistance of this hotel - the fantastic bakery on the ground floor. We indulged in delectable cakes, sandwiches, pastries, and pizza, all while sipping on freshly brewed coffee or orange juice. We would definitely choose to stay here again without a second thought. Kudos to the hotel for making our trip truly memorable! ❤️ ❤️❤️….
After my recent stay in Barcelona, I feel compelled to write a hotel review for the first time. While I have nothing negative to say, I would suggest considering other accommodations. The rates were quite high at EUR 400 per night, totaling EUR 1200 for my three-night stay. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations and I cannot justify the cost. The room was small and lacked basic amenities such as a shower cap, pen, and notepad. To make matters worse, my window overlooked a white wall, making it feel like a prison. The hallway on my floor was dreary and narrow as well. Although the breakfast buffet offered delicious pastries from the bakery, I was surprised to learn that the coffee pods were not readily available. Instead, I had to go to the reception desk to retrieve them from a locked box. It felt like I was back in school. If you're willing to pay a premium for a modest, convenient hotel, then this may be a good option. However, I believe the cost is far too excessive. In conclusion, I did not receive the value for my money and left feeling disappointed. I would suggest considering other options, such as an Airbnb, as hotels in Barcelona tend to be overpriced.
The accommodation was lovely and situated in a pleasant location in Barcelona. We made a specific request for a peaceful room away from the bustling street, and our room was indeed tranquil. We were able to open the windows for a refreshing breeze. The bakery on the premises was fantastic, offering affordable and delicious goods. Additionally, the famous Gaudi landmarks, Casa Mila and Casa Batlo, were just a stone's throw away. I would highly suggest this property to others for its exceptional value.
The central location of this hotel was excellent, and the on-site bakery was a wonderful addition. Just two blocks away from Passage De Gracia, the stylish and comfortable room was perfect for my two-night stay. It was a bit small, but that didn't bother me. The staff even allowed me to check-in at 1330pm, which was a great bonus.
