As admirers of Relais & Chateaux establishments, we were delighted with our recent stay in Barcelona. We opted for an apartment located across from the hotel, which was mostly frequented by families. The apartment was charming, complete with a tranquil rooftop pool and terrace. It's worth mentioning that the hotel's pool is the only place where food and drinks are served, not at the apartment's pool. Nevertheless, the concierge and front desk team were beyond excellent.
During my recent trip to Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel. I must say, it was one of the most memorable stays I've had in all my years of traveling. The location was simply breathtaking, with a rich history that added to its charm. And the service? Simply top-notch. Not only did they take care of tracking down a lost suitcase for us, but they also went out of their way to accommodate my desire to practice my Spanish. It was like experiencing the impeccable service of the Ritz Carlton, but with the added bonus of a more intimate atmosphere due to the hotel's smaller size. My partner and I were absolutely delighted with our stay.
I recently returned home from my three-night sojourn in the deluxe room at Hotel Neri. The experience was truly remarkable and the hotel itself is nothing short of stunning. The best aspect of this hotel is undoubtedly its prime location in the Gothic Quarter, nestled among charming streets and in close proximity to amazing restaurants. I must express my heartfelt gratitude to Mauro and Thomas for their incredibly helpful and friendly service, without being too overwhelming. The breakfast offered was top-notch and provided the perfect start to our day. Our room was exceptionally cozy making for a sound sleep each night. The rooftop area is absolutely enchanting and I can only imagine how much better it would be during the summer months. I must mention that this hotel does come with a hefty price tag. However, in my opinion, it is well worth the money. If you're considering a stay here, do keep in mind whether you will have enough time to truly appreciate all that it has to offer, given the abundance of activities and sights in Barcelona. As this was my second visit to the city, I was seeking a bit of extra relaxation and Hotel Neri delivered just that.
Our stay at this hotel in Barcelona was truly enjoyable. The entrance caught our attention with its grand wooden doors, which were propped open to reveal a stunning set of metal framed glass doors behind them. The lobby was inviting and exuded a lovely aroma. The doorman, Thomas, was a delight and provided us with helpful assistance. Our room was beautifully decorated and had a cozy and comfortable bed. We were smitten with every aspect of the hotel and eagerly looked forward to returning each time we came back from our adventures around the city.
During our visit to Barcelona in late November, we were fortunate enough to stay at the stunning Hotel Neri – Relais & Chateaux for 3 nights. The staff, including Receptionist George, and Bar attendants Nat and Flavia, were incredibly kind and attentive. The beds and bedrooms were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. This hotel is the ideal choice for a city break.
