El Palauet Royal Suites

The place is gorgeous and the facilities kept up, though certain design choices sacrificed comfort. For instance, the faucet and sink combination meant that the faucet had to be cranked up slightly or water would end up all over the floor. The AC was in a centralized location and could only be adjusted through reception. Really though, the biggest issue was the sound of the train rumbling below. Being right above a major station was great for getting around, but not so great when you're trying to catch some sleep and a loud noise shakes your room every 10-15 minutes, and even continues on weekends until 1am. If only I'd known about this before booking!

We stayed in the Principal Passeig de Gracia 24-271017 and generally concurred with the opinions of other visitors. The hotel apartment concept is an excellent and rare option (depending on your view of Airbnb) and this establishment does it well in Barcelona. The location, quality and room size is reflective of the cost. However, there are a few issues with the privacy of the en-suites, such as gaps, glass, mirrors and limited doors. Additionally, there was some confusion over what was included in the breakfast when it was part of the deal. Unfortunately, our 3 night stay was marred by the major renovation works next door. The masonry drilling and jack hammers started at 0800 and continued to reverberate periodically until 1630, interspersed with deliveries of skips, building supplies and so on. This made sleeping impossible beyond 0800, and it appears that the renovation will be ongoing for months, if not a year. The establishment seems resigned to the disruption, but guests paying their rates may not feel the same.

I had an unfortunate stay at El Palauet Luxury Suites. The shower had no hot water, the phone was broken, and most of the time there was no one at the front desk. The laundry was even returned still damp. It was a completely disorganized place - it felt like a poorly run bed and breakfast. The staff didn't provide any helpful insight in terms of experience or recommendations and generally seemed indifferent. I wouldn't recommend this place. Thanks.

We had an amazing experience at El Palauet Luxury Suites and would highly recommend it. The location is perfect, right on the Passeig de Gràcia and close to everything. The suite was gorgeous, with classic features like painted relief ceilings, stained glass windows, and mirrored kitchens. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious with a rain shower and a tub. We also appreciated the balconies overlooking the street. The service was excellent and everyone we encountered was warm and helpful. We had a great time in Barcelona and will be back to stay at El Palauet Luxury Suites again soon. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at El Palauet Luxury Suites. The rooms were large and very tastefully decorated in a classic Catalonian style - we felt like we were embodying the essence of the city while being very comfortable! The 24/7 concierge service was great, the staff were super accommodating and they made sure we felt welcome with breakfast and food on our arrival. Our two kids had a wonderful time too; being so close to so many of Barcelona's major attractions made it really convenient for us to explore the city. We would definitely stay again!
