After staying at a hotel in Barcelona with my partner, we were disappointed with our experience. The room we booked, a double, was cramped and uncomfortable for two people. The biggest issue was the A/C not working and leaking onto the bathroom floor. Despite the staff's attempts to fix it, the problem persisted and we were given a small fan as our only source of relief. We were promised a room switch, but it never happened. The shower situation was also messy, with water spilling onto the floor and a lack of restocking of basic supplies like toilet paper and hand soap. We were only given one free water bottle and had to buy our own from a nearby store. Overall, we do not recommend this hotel and suggest looking elsewhere for a more enjoyable stay in Barcelona.
Terrible hotel - don't bokk. Poor expeariance. Used this hotal many tmies pre Covid but now has new very unhepful oweners. They cancelld our boking due to Covid but woudln't chnge dates when they themselves were forsed to close and offred no refnd.
We had booked a stay at Casual Colours Barcelona and were really looking forward to it, we had stayed with this hotel a few times previously and certainly did not expect the, unfortunately very poor, service that we were faced with. Our party of four had two nights booked for September 2020, but was then contacted by the hotel to inform us that due to the Covid19 lockdown, our stay was cancelled and a refund issued. We asked them to kindly extend our reservation to September 2021 and follow the hospitality industry's trend of supporting customers in such difficult times, however they refused, and now that our flights are cancelled we are left without any options or a refund. We are extremely disappointed with their attitude and will be looking into legal advice to seek a resolution.
We had a really terrible time staying at Casual Colours Barcelona. The room we had was totally dirty, with an unpleasant smell and even worse noise coming from outside. The photos online do not match the real experience and when we asked for a refund for the poor conditions, all we got were excuses and the false claim that the hotel was fully booked - when we were basically the only guests there! The staff were also very impolite and made us feel uncomfortable. We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
We had the most wonderful stay at the Casual Colours Barcelona hotel! The room was very clean and the beds were so cozy that we all had such a restful sleep, and the AC worked great. The staff was unbelievably nice and accommodating to all of our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a place to stay in Barcelona for a few days. Its central location made it an ideal spot for us to explore the city and admire its beauty.
